This month’s featured veteran is Gareth Pye from Australia. Regional coordinator James Mackay says: “Gareth is a great guy to have on an event – his infectious humour is reflected in his taking up the nickname of “LovesTha”, but those closest to him use his J-Lo name of G-Pye. During our Japan travels, Gareth also proved to be a fine travelling companion – his snoring isn’t anywhere near as bad as he makes it out to be! Since advancing to L2 at GP:Auckland ’08 he has also worked on growing the nearby-but-across-water community in Tasmania, helping the TO there achieve certification at GP: Sydney. Always willing to share his opinion or a story, I encourage everyone to help themselves to a slice of this Pye.”
