Hello everyone!
I’m going to be filling in as Judge Manager while we search for a permanent replacement for Andy Heckt. I’m really excited about this opportunity to work with all of you!
Over the next few weeks, I’ll be reaching out to Judge Program stakeholders here at Wizards as well as the senior judges to find out what we think our challenges and opportunities are for the coming year. I hope that this will help us identify goals that push the program forward. I can’t wait to share the outcome of this process with all of you!
While I’ll also be taking over Andy’s day-to-day responsibilities in helping Wizards and the Judge Program work together, I want to encourage you to look to your regional coordinators and senior judges who have done a brilliant job of keeping things thrumming along during this transition.
A little about me – I’m a long time L3 (Kobe 2006), a former RC (Western US / Pacific Northwest), and a PhD student in the middle of writing my dissertation. My writing schedule and this opportunity happened to line up just right, and this allows Wizards to spend time searching for the perfect candidate to work with the Judge Program moving forward.
