Look for the word \u201cyou\u201d in the card text, such as \u201ccreatures you control get +1\/+1\u201d, \u201cwhenever you explore\u201d, etc.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-1195 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.magicjudges.org\/2hg\/files\/2018\/01\/Vonas-Hunger-216x302.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"216\" height=\"302\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ascend<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Ascend requires you control 10 or more permanents for you to obtain the city&#8217;s blessing, so any permanents your teammate has doesn&#8217;t count and if you gain the city&#8217;s blessing they still have to gain it themselves.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-1185 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.magicjudges.org\/2hg\/files\/2018\/01\/Admirals-Order-216x302.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"216\" height=\"302\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Raid<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Raid requires you to have attacked with a creature, so your teammate attacking with a creature does not count.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>\u201cEACH\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Cards that say \u201ceach opponent\u201d or \u201ceach player\u201d do affect more players than usual.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1187\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.magicjudges.org\/2hg\/files\/2018\/01\/Azor-The-Lawbringer-216x302.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"216\" height=\"302\" \/>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1193\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.magicjudges.org\/2hg\/files\/2018\/01\/Sphinxs-Decree-216x302.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"216\" height=\"302\" \/><\/p>\n<p><em>Azor, the Lawbringer | Sphinx&#8217;s Decree<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Both opponents will not be able to cast instant or sorcery spells during their next turn.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1186\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.magicjudges.org\/2hg\/files\/2018\/01\/Angrath-the-Flame-Chained-Rivals-of-Ixalan-Spoiler-216x302.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"216\" height=\"302\" \/>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-1151\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.magicjudges.org\/2hg\/files\/2018\/01\/en_QHhQBiXs7Q.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"217\" height=\"303\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1207\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.magicjudges.org\/2hg\/files\/2018\/01\/Forerunner-of-the-Coalition-216x302.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"216\" height=\"302\" \/>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1191\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.magicjudges.org\/2hg\/files\/2018\/01\/Metzali-Tower-of-Triumph-Rivals-of-Ixalan-Spoiler-216x302.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"216\" height=\"302\" \/><\/p>\n<p><em>Angrath, the Flame-Chained | Gruesome Fate| Forerunner of the Coalition | Metzali, Tower of Triumph<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Each opponent loses the life, doubling 1 damage to 2 damage, and 2 damage to 4 damage.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1195\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.magicjudges.org\/2hg\/files\/2018\/01\/Vonas-Hunger-216x302.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"216\" height=\"302\" \/>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1192\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.magicjudges.org\/2hg\/files\/2018\/01\/Silverclad-Ferocidons-Rivals-of-Ixalan-Spoiler1-216x302.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"216\" height=\"302\" \/><\/p>\n<p><em>Vona&#8217;s Hunger | Silverclad Ferocidons<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Each opponent has to sacrifice a permanent or creature (or half of their creatures!)<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cEach opponent X and you Y\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-1152\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.magicjudges.org\/2hg\/files\/2018\/01\/en_Y3RFa60kov.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"216\" height=\"301\" \/>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1194\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.magicjudges.org\/2hg\/files\/2018\/01\/Twilight-Prophet-216x302.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"216\" height=\"302\" \/><\/p>\n<p><em>Arterial Flow | Twilight Prophet<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The opposing team loses double the amount but you don\u2019t gain double. So with Arterial Flow your opponents lose 4 life but you still only gain 2 life in total. With Twilight Prophet, if you reveal the card&#8217;s converted mana cost as 3 then your opponents would lose 6 life but you would only gain the 3 life.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Combat Notes<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1196 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.magicjudges.org\/2hg\/files\/2018\/01\/Warkite-Marauder-Rivals-of-Ixalan-Spoiler-216x302.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"216\" height=\"302\" \/><\/p>\n<p><em>Warkite Marauder<\/em><\/p>\n<p>With the attack trigger you can target any one creature from the defending players, this is separate from any other choices about \u201cdefending player\u201d. For example, you can attack one opponent but target the other opponent\u2019s creature with this ability.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-1210 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.magicjudges.org\/2hg\/files\/2018\/01\/Storm-the-Vault-Rivals-of-Ixalan-Spoiler-216x302.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"216\" height=\"302\" \/><\/p>\n<p><em>Storm the Vault<\/em><\/p>\n<p>If you attack with multiple creatures, you can have them deal damage to different \u2018heads\u2019 and have Storm the Vault trigger twice.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1237\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.magicjudges.org\/2hg\/files\/2018\/01\/Image.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"223\" height=\"311\" \/>\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1236\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.magicjudges.org\/2hg\/files\/2018\/01\/Image-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"223\" height=\"311\" \/><\/p>\n<p><em>Curious Obsession | See Red<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The attack condition is still part of the aura, not the creature, so if you put this on your teammate&#8217;s creature, you still need to attack with a creature to not lose this.<\/p>\n<p>For Curious Obsession the draw a card trigger is granted to the creature, so if you put this on your teammate&#8217;s creature, they get to draw a card if the creature deals combat damage.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Life Notes<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you lose life during a turn then it&#8217;s only YOU who loses the life, not your teammate! Same goes for gaining life.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-1190 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.magicjudges.org\/2hg\/files\/2018\/01\/Form-of-the-Dinosaur-216x302.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"216\" height=\"302\" \/><\/p>\n<p><em>Form of the Dinosaur<\/em><\/p>\n<p>In 2HG your life total is the same as your team\u2019s life total. This effectively changes the team\u2019s life total to 15 <strong>(but only you actually lose or gain life).<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-1218 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.magicjudges.org\/2hg\/files\/2018\/01\/636504941325582776.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"279\" \/><\/p>\n<p><em>Paladin of Atonement<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Even though creatures attack the defending players as a team, in the Combat Damage Step the controller of an attacking creature chooses one opponent to actually deal the combat damage to. So your opponents can simply choose to always deal the damage to your teammate.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-1219 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.magicjudges.org\/2hg\/files\/2018\/01\/636505133075054494.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"279\" \/><\/p>\n<p><em>Famished Paladin<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Famished Paladin only untaps if YOU gain life, if your teammate gains life then famished paladin doesn&#8217;t untap.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-1221 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.magicjudges.org\/2hg\/files\/2018\/01\/636507682966751739.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"279\" \/><\/p>\n<p><em>Oathsworn vampire<\/em><\/p>\n<p>You may cast Oathsworn Vampire from your graveyard only if you have gained life this turn.
