Q: I certified 5/10/15 years ago, but my name was not on the list this month! Why?
There are a couple possible reasons. A lot of data was lost in a database update in 2001, and as a result a lot of veteran judges have a certification date of 1st January 2001, even though they were certified months or even years before that date. Another reason is that in the old days, it sometimes took a very long time for the paperwork to get processed, since we were dealing with actual paper and snail mail. It’s possible that you will appear on the anniversary list later.
The earliest certification dates we have are from 1997 and 1998.
You should be able to find your “official” certification date by going to the Personal Info Center and clicking on the “Card” link next to your judge level. The certification will be displayed on the printable Judge membership card.

The link above doesn’t show me any info on my judge level. Is that functionality still available (and therefore I have an issue, not others), or if not, is there another way to check? I decerted for a few years and so I’m not sure how my anniversary would be calculated.
Hey Ben! This is something I can help you with in private. In general, if you de-cert and then re-cert, we use the date where you first certified. Feel free to send me a private message and I can help you figure out your situation.
