Pro-tip\u00a0: you can add valuable time to your rulings and avoid making the wrong call , by just reading the card.<\/li>\n<li>If you make an incorrect ruling, own up to it!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><a id=\"Kindness\" name=\"Kindness\"><\/a><\/h2>\n<h3>Kindness<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>No one likes a jerk<\/li>\n<li>That said, be very careful to understand the boundaries of what you can and cannot tell a player.<\/li>\n<li>If you have to give out a game loss, chat with the player after the round. (for some new players, try this with warnings too)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><a id=\"Generosity\" name=\"Generosity\"><\/a><\/h2>\n<h3>Generosity<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Tournaments are long. You\u2019re thisrty. Your feet hurt. Share your time anyways.<\/li>\n<li>If you\u2019re on the floor, you\u2019re going ot be bombarded with question from players and spectators. \u201cI got a games loss for \u201cx\u201d, is that right? \u201chow does humility work?\u201d \u201cwhy is that giraffe Drunk?\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><a id=\"Loyalty\" name=\"Loyalty\"><\/a><\/h2>\n<h3>Loyalty<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>We are a community, both of players and of judges. Be there for each other.<\/li>\n<li>Has Riki not had a break in 6 hours? (probably not!) Help him out!<\/li>\n<li>Does your local card shop not have someone with rules knowledge? Too bad!! \u2013 Do what needs to be done and do it well.<\/li>\n<li>You\u2019re always one person on a team, remember that!<\/li>\n<li>Know how to focus when you need to!<\/li>\n<li>All the studying in the world is no substitute for experience.
