Graveyard order only matters in formats that have cards that involve graveyard order legal.<\/p>\n<p>The graveyard can be more than a \u201cpile of cards.\u201d IE, decks like dredge that spread them out, but keep the proper order.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Abilities from Graveyards<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Delve: Future sight ability, reduce the cost of cards by removing cards in graveyard \u2013 <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.magicjudges.org\/conferencecontent\/wp-content\/plugins\/lems-mtg-helper\/lems-mtg-helper-cardfinder.php?find=Tombstalker&width=223&height=310\" class=\"jTip\" name=\"\">Tombstalker<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Dredge: Printed first in Ravnica block. Replacement affect, while card is in the graveyard. As long as you have X cards in your library, you may put X number of cards from your library into your graveyard and \u201cput that card in your hand instead.\u201d (Not actually drawing)<\/li>\n<li>Flashback: follows the rules of paying alternate cost. If it would go anywhere from the stack, it always gets exiled.<\/li>\n<li>Recover: When a creature goes to the graveyard, you can pay X mana to have the card go to your hand from your graveyard.<\/li>\n<li>Retrace: Does not exile cards from graveyard, unlike flashblack. You may pay the spells mana cost while in the graveyard with the additional cost of discarding a land.<\/li>\n<li>Soulshift: When the creature is put into the graveyard from the battlefield you may return a spirit creature card with converted mana cost X or less form your graveyard to play.<\/li>\n<li>Unearth: \u201cflashback for creatures.\u201d Exiles the creature if it would go anywhere but the exile the zone. Tricky with momentary blink. It is an activated ability, can be stopped by cards like <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.magicjudges.org\/conferencecontent\/wp-content\/plugins\/lems-mtg-helper\/lems-mtg-helper-cardfinder.php?find=Pithing+needle&width=223&height=310\" class=\"jTip\" name=\"\">Pithing needle<\/a>. Sorcery speed only.<\/li>\n<li>Threshold: When you have 7 cards or more in your graveyard you have \u201cThreshold.\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Triggers from Graveyards<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Last known information \u2013 <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.magicjudges.org\/conferencecontent\/wp-content\/plugins\/lems-mtg-helper\/lems-mtg-helper-cardfinder.php?find=Murderous+Redcap&width=223&height=310\" class=\"jTip\" name=\"\">Murderous Redcap<\/a> is a popular example.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Graveyard in eternal formats \u2013 tricky interactions<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Dread Returning <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.magicjudges.org\/conferencecontent\/wp-content\/plugins\/lems-mtg-helper\/lems-mtg-helper-cardfinder.php?find=Golgari+Grave-Troll&width=223&height=310\" class=\"jTip\" name=\"\">Golgari Grave-Troll<\/a>. He counts himself.
