Yakup \u00c7akmak<\/h2>\n

Yakup \u00c7akmak
\nL2, Turkey<\/p><\/div>\n

Yakup is an L2 from Izmir and is currently the Country Coordinator for Turkey. He started playing in 2004 while still in high school and began organizing tournaments when Izmir’s small community was about to disassemble after his graduation. A short time later he decided to certify as a judge, and since then he’s been a driving force for Magic-related activity throughout Turkey.<\/p>\n



\nYakup received 3 nominations on Wave 3, let’s have a look at them.<\/p>\n

Balkan Cilingir<\/a><\/span><\/span> had this to say about Yakup:

“Yakup, thank you for stepping up and taking responsibility for organizing the first Judge conference in Turkey.<\/em><\/p>\n

Thanks to your organization skills we had a smooth conference. You handled all the details and also have quickly solved any emerging problems like our ride back to Istanbul canceling the deal but you were able to find another bus to take us without any delays to the previously made plans.<\/em><\/p>\n

Giorgos Trichopoulos<\/a><\/span><\/span> had this to say about Yakup:<\/p>\n

“Yakup, while far from perfect, your organizing of our 2015 summer conference introduced new elements such as a bus ride from the air-ports and conference T-shirts.<\/em><\/p>\n

Those little things improve the overall experience of those events and even set higher standards for judge conferences worldwide. This kind of creativity is most welcome in the judge program.”<\/em>[\/cets_callout_box]<\/p>\n
