Albert Jove Franco L1, Iberia\u00a0<\/p><\/div>\n

Albert Jov\u00e9 is a L1 judge from Barcelona (Spain) currently living in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. He was certificated in 2015 by Arthur Cohen in Barcelona. Regarding the UAE community, he is organizing a monthly judge get-together, in this meetings he is also preparing a monthly judge quiz. For the judges that can not attend to the gathering, he shares the questions and the answers in the WhatsApp group, trying to involve all the judges. Currently, he’s preparing to take the L2 test soon.<\/p>\n

David de la Iglesia<\/a>\u00a0<\/a><\/span><\/span> had this to say about Albert:<\/p>\n

[cets_callout_box style=’gray’ align=’full’ title=”] Albert, during the L3 Q&A panel at the Middle East Judge Conference in Dubai, you raised likely the most important and complicated topic for the local community to be discussed. You were brave yet respectful, and your approach to the topic was always trying to build bridges and solve the ongoing problem with a particular TO. I am grateful for that, not only because you’re pushing the community to see that taking sides is not productive, but also because you are the only one who seems to understand that problems need to be tackled, and can’t be just swept under the rug. You have taken on your own to not only hold the community accountable for allowing certain behaviors from said TO, but also you are the one trying to drive the change and come to a solution. To this end you have volunteered to try work with this TO in an effort that won’t be pleasant for you, but that you consider a personal responsibility. You are at least trying, and that means a lot to me.<\/em>[\/cets_callout_box]<\/p>\n

Masaru Koide<\/a>\u00a0<\/a><\/span><\/span> had this to say about Albert:<\/p>\n

You planed first judge gathering in our country judge community with our country coordinator and, conducted rule quiz in this gathering. Then, you shared several interested quiz & answer in our community SMS for absence judges. I felt that this fun activity gave good effect for improvement our communication & improvement rule knowledge. Thank you very much !!<\/em> [\/cets_callout_box]<\/p>\n

Regarding the welcoming personality you were a great host during my stay in UAE, you showed me around, and you were genuine interested in me having a good time. Your easy going attributes is making you a lovable person to all three TOs in town, something that is not easily achieved. Regarding the maturity, you had the courage to recognise that you were not ready to test for L2 in Athens, although you could have pushed for it. L2 is a new different level that needs to be approached with respect. Please continue to develop your skill and your time will come \ud83d\ude42<\/em>\u00a0 [\/cets_callout_box]<\/p>\n
