Yes!<\/p>\n

Wave 7 opens today and ends on Nov 1st at 23:59PM PST (GMT+7).<\/strong><\/p>\n

Wave 6 was the first wave with slots adjusted to the new quarterly schedule. \u00a0Looking at the slot usage, percentage penetration and total number of nominations, Wave 6 landed very close to where we hoped it would. \u00a0As such, there will be no slot allocation changes for Wave 7.<\/p>\n

Late Nominations<\/strong><\/p>\n

In the days following the end of an Exemplar Wave, I tend to get several requests asking if a judge can submit late nominations. \u00a0We haven’t made an “official” post yet on how we handle them. As a matter of policy, we do not accept late nominations. \u00a0Waves are approximately 10 weeks in duration, and you do assume some risk in waiting till the last day. \u00a0Now, that isn’t to say we don’t make exceptions for large scale software problems, or medical emergencies. \u00a0However, the default answer to “Can I submit a nomination late?” is “No, but the next wave opens in 2 weeks. \u00a0Be sure to get it in early.”<\/p>\n
