I especially enjoy helping new players come to events they might be hesitant to join. <\/li>\n<li><strong>What excites you most about this event?:<\/strong>  Being part of an event where you never know what you are going to get when the hand goes up and judge is called. I hope to help make ODE\/turbo town awesome as ever!!<\/li>\n<li><strong>What worries you most about this event?:<\/strong> Forgetting what table I was at if I have to go get another judge!!<\/li>\n<li><strong>What are you hoping to learn at this event?:<\/strong> There is so much that I know I dont know so I cant really narrow this down. Thankfully I know there will be other judges I can go to when needed.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Who are your mentors?:<\/strong> Eric Lee Marc Lunde Angela Chandler Daniel Lee Will Levin Krystal Rose<\/li>\n<li><strong>What challenges have you faced or are you facing to become a better judge?:<\/strong> Anxiety is a huge barrier, being afraid of messing up and damaging a players chances and their confidence in judges.<\/li>\n<li><strong>How have you worked to overcome those challenges?:<\/strong> I ask for help, even if I think I know the answer if there is any doubt I double check. Also good customer service skills can help with many sticky situations.<\/li>\n<li><strong>What is the best part about your local Magic community?:<\/strong> The wealth of knowledge we have in AZ and the free sharing of that knowledge. Early into playing MTG I found myself reading rules interactions online in my free time. It just felt right.<\/li>\n<li><strong>What excites you most about this event?:<\/strong> The opportunity to collaborate with large groups of judges at such a big event.<\/li>\n<li><strong>What are you hoping to learn at this event?:<\/strong> I hope to continue to improve my skills at judging in every way possible. I&#8217;m most looking forward to the group dynamic of many floor judges at once.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Who are your mentors?:<\/strong> Marc Lunde has had my back from day one.<\/li>\n<li><strong>What is the best part about your local Magic community?:<\/strong> We have an enormous MTG community in Arizona full of generous stores and friendly players. <\/li>\n<li><strong>What is your favorite Magic memory?:<\/strong> The generosity and patience shown to me by players at my first Prerelease.
