He was recognized this wave for his hard work at both events and in the community. Here is what was said about Brian\u2019s efforts:<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cAt SCG Columbus, you were part of a team that had the monumental task of running side events on not one but two balconies. Along with this you set up the system for running ODEs while I was getting scheduled events organized. You went up and down the stairs over 50 times throughout the day with not a single complaint. You were outstanding at this event and I thank you for all the hard work and effort you put in.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cBrian Rapp came into an event I was organizing on short notice, when I was desperate for help. Not only that, but he helped me make the last push I needed to finally complete my LV2 Checklist. If this wasn&#8217;t enough I&#8217;ve seen his name numerous times on social media feeds answering questions, engaging other judges, and being an awesome diplomat of our game and our greater community. And thus I want to recognize Brian for being an all-purpose awesome, exemplary judge. Keep up the good work.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s what <span class='judge-tooltip'><a href='https:\/\/apps.magicjudges.org\/judges\/dci\/5034481676' >Johnpaul Adams<\/a><span class='avatar'><img width='200' height='200' src='https:\/\/apps.magicjudges.org\/dci\/avatar?dci=5034481676&size=200'><\/span><\/span>, his Area Captain, had to say:<\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Brian was recognized for his excellence in leadership in the above examples. Leading a successful and challenging Side Event schedule, helping out at an event last notice. This is the above and beyond work that we\u2019re looking for. Brian also showed a great deal of help in mentorship in the second example. Beyond just helping with the checklist, mentoring in the community by answering judging question or questions about the judging program is an excellent way to administer to our larger MtG community.
