for the Great Lakes Region in 2018!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The Communications Project<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Judge Program has no shortage of information.\u00a0 But that information is only good if we can get into the hands of our Judges!\u00a0 Here in the Great Lakes Region, we will be utilizing the Communications Project to do just that.<\/p>\n<p>In 2018, our focus for the Communications Project will be to increase the transparency of this information while increasing the ease-of-access to it.\u00a0 In short, we will be working to enable the increased knowledge of all and State levels exist as a forum for communication and discussion amongst Judges, TOs, and frequent regional visitors.\u00a0 The intent is foster general discussion surrounding Organized Play and Judging-related topics.<\/p>\n<p>The Slack channels exist to provide a more real-time platform for both support and collaboration between Judges on various projects and programs.<\/p>\n<p>The Great Lakes Magic Judges blog on JudgeApps serves as our platform to spotlight featured content.\u00a0 Additionally, the blog provides links to our region-specific content as well as an archive for all of our previously featured content.<\/p>\n<p>Our various leadership channels are exclusive to in-region L2+ Judges.\u00a0 These channels are leveraged to discuss regional or area matters with the correct audience.<\/p>\n<p><b>Featured<\/b><strong>\u00a0Content<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Exemplar Spotlight<\/em><\/p>\n<p>With each wave of Exemplar nominations that is released, we will feature an in-depth look at some of the nominations of Judges within our region!<\/p>\n<p><em>Monthly Updates<\/em><\/p>\n<p>There is never a shortage of information, policy updates, or rules changes to follow in the Judge Program.\u00a0 To ensure that none of this information falls through the cracks, we intend to publish a monthly update on the regional blog of all the things you may have missed throughout the previous month.<\/p>\n<p><em>Routine Program Updates and Announcements<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Our various Facebook and Slack channels will continue to serve as a medium for program updates and announcements as they become available.\u00a0 The intent of the monthly updates is to capture all of these announcements in a single place at the end of every month.<\/p>\n<p><em>Quarterly Regional Coordinator Update<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Our Regional Coordinator, John Temple, will communicate his thoughts on the region\u2019s state, goals, and progress every quarter via the regional blog.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Do you project are met.\u00a0 The project manager serves as a liaison to coordinate personnel and resources in an effort to meet or exceed all expectations set forth for the team.
