{"id":10,"date":"2012-06-01T21:48:54","date_gmt":"2012-06-01T21:48:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.magicjudges.org\/help\/?page_id=10"},"modified":"2012-06-01T21:59:32","modified_gmt":"2012-06-01T21:59:32","slug":"pages-and-posts","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/blogs.magicjudges.org\/help\/pages-and-posts\/","title":{"rendered":"Pages and Posts"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Pages and Posts are the two primary types of content for your site.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Posts<\/strong> are generally ordered chronologically, and are generally used for updates.\u00a0 If you make a daily, weekly, monthly, or just occasional update to your site, a Post is probably the thing to use.\u00a0 They can be put into categories for classification, and support Tags (keywords) to tie related posts together.\u00a0 To create a Post, find the Posts menu on the left side of the dashboard and select &#8220;Add New.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Pages<\/strong> are generally more static and timeless than a Post.\u00a0 They are useful for topics such as About, or Contact Us style pages.\u00a0 They support a hierarchy (parent pages can have a bunch of child pages), but cannot be categorized or tagged.\u00a0 To create a Page, find the Pages menu on the left side of the dashboard and select &#8220;Add New.&#8221;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Pages and Posts are the two primary types of content for your site.
