If you have a game you&#8217;d like featured, feel free to contact me.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p>\u201cToken Hunting\u201d, is Judge game created by Martin Chaves Murillo (L2 Costa Rica), and revised by Emmanuel Leal, aimed to improve team relationship, and educate judges.<\/p>\n<h2>Ground\u00a0Rules<\/h2>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/gatherer.wizards.com\/Handlers\/Image.ashx?multiverseid=35167&amp;type=card\" alt=\"\" width=\"223\" height=\"310\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The game can be played by all the judges at the event or limited to a single tournament or team (e.g. Paper team).<\/li>\n<li>The game ends when the top8 starts to play, unless announced otherwise.<\/li>\n<li>Typically the prizes of the game come from the game organizer and is supposed to be something symbolic, not of\u00a0high retail value\u00a0(e.g. a signed foil or some stampered packs).<\/li>\n<li>It is possible to be have than one Token in the same event.<\/li>\n<li>The Token holder can also be called \u201cThe King of the Hill\u201d.<\/li>\n<li>Head Judges are allowed to play.<\/li>\n<li>NON-Judge staff is not allowed to play.<\/li>\n<li>The Token needs to be something unique, (e.g. a signed token\/card) so it can be replaced, and avoid adding extra along the game.<\/li>\n<li>The questions can be as hard or as easy as you want, but need to be related to judging.<\/li>\n<li>No outsourcing or help of any kind to answer a question (other than the Oracle).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>How to Play<\/h2>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/gatherer.wizards.com\/Handlers\/Image.ashx?multiverseid=1534&amp;type=card\" alt=\"\" width=\"223\" height=\"310\" \/><\/p>\n<p>1.- You approach to a judge and ask \u201cDo you have the token? \u201d<br \/>\n2.- They will answer with a question (Policy, scenario,rules, etc, judge related stuff )<br \/>\n3.- If you get the right answer and that person has the token you take it from\u00a0them<br \/>\n4.- If somebody asks you and you don&#8217;t have the token, don&#8217;t tell them, just pose\u00a0a question<br \/>\n4.1.- If that person&#8217;s gets the right answer hand them\u00a0the token, If\u00a0they get it wrong, you don&#8217;t need to inform\u00a0them whether you have it<br \/>\n5.-If you pose\u00a0the question to a judge, who doesn&#8217;t know what you are talking about, explain the rules, so they join the fun<br \/>\n6.- If you are the King of the Hill and you need to leave *for whatever reason* just hand\\ the token to whoever you want<br \/>\n7.- If you are the King of the Hill, you can still\u00a0ask other for the token<br \/>\n7.1 If you were going to get a second token, reveal both of them, each judge keeps their own token<br \/>\n8.-Every judge can ask\u00a0token holder up to two times per round<\/p>\n<p>Good Luck and Good Hunting!<\/p>\n<h2><\/h2>\n<h2>Variant Rules<\/h2>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/gatherer.wizards.com\/Handlers\/Image.ashx?multiverseid=109675&amp;type=card\" alt=\"\" width=\"223\" height=\"310\" \/><\/p>\n<p>1.- Everyone who gets the token during the game signs their\u00a0name on it.<br \/>\n2.- Judges should write the time they gain control of the token. The one who with the longest possession wins.<br \/>\n3.-If you are the King of the Hill\u00a0&#8211;\u00a0someone ask you for the token, and you can;t think of a question within a reasonable time frame, you lose the token.<br \/>\n4.- Allowing\u00a0a collection of\u00a0prepared questions in your judge notebook.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Today I present a guest article by Emmanuel Leal.
