Hello, friends!

In conjunction with my good friend and fellow Regional Coordinator, Joe Hughto, I’m proud to announce the 2018 Review Challenge, between the Mid-Atlantic and the North-East.

For the calendar year 2018, the two regions will compete to see which region can write the greatest number of reviews between January 1, 2018 and December 31, 2018. At the end of the year, the losing region will provide pens and notebooks to the judges of the winning region. The purpose of this competition is to encourage judges from both regions to engage with and support other judges. Joe and I both believe feedback is a crucial part of the judge program, and we’re very excited to see how our regions respond.

In addition, judges in the Mid-Atlantic will be invited to nominate one review (per judge) written of them by another judge in the Mid-Atlantic for Review of the Year. All nominations will be reviewed by a select panel, and the author of Review of the Year will receive a BIG PRIZE (identification of the BIG PRIZE to be announced later).
