Links to unofficial resources:
- Yawgatog: The most current version of the CR as a fully linked HTML page. Yawgatog also documented changes to the CR and to Oracle text, starting with Ravnica: City of Guilds (October 2005) and ending with Ixalan (September 2017).
- Academy Ruins: Run by Václav Luňák, this site documents changes to the CR, starting with Magic: the Gathering—Conspiracy (June 2014), and to the MTR, starting with Kaldheim (February 2021). Academy Ruins also provides the ability to search these changes for a specific rule, and hosts older versions of the CR, the MTR, and the IPG.
- Policy Perspectives: Toby Elliott, primary author of the MTR and the IPG, explains updates made to these documents.
- Scryfall: A searchable Oracle card reference. Scryfall’s search features are much more powerful than Gatherer’s, and it contains cards not found on Gatherer. The only drawback is that Oracle text found on Scryfall is sometimes outdated or inaccurate.
