In late October (somewhere between the 27th<\/sup> and the 31th<\/sup>), Wizards of the Coast (WotC) made an unscheduled update to Gatherer. That update reverted some of the changes from the Magic: The Gathering\u2014FINAL FANTASY<\/em> update, as well as some pre-release errata for the Edge of Eternities<\/em> release.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Disclaimer:<\/strong> While I strive for completeness and correctness, I may have missed some changes; my process for archiving and comparing Gatherer revisions is still a work in progress.1<\/a><\/sup><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Higher costs (functional)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

As part of the Magic: The Gathering\u2014FINAL FANTASY<\/em> update<\/a>, WotC had lowered the activation cost of several activated abilities by effectively {9}, {18}, or even {99}. For two triggered abilities, a cost paid during the ability\u2019s resolution had been lowered by effectively {9}.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the Edge of Eternities<\/em> cards Survey Mechan<\/a> and The Dominion Bracelet<\/a>, WotC had issued errata<\/a> that lower activation costs found in those cards\u2019 text by effectively {9} each.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With this unscheduled update, WotC reversed most of those changes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This update applies to: Draco<\/a>, Mox Lotus<\/a>, Spawnsire of Ulamog<\/a>, Colossus of Akros<\/a>, Phyrexian Triniform<\/a>, The Tarrasque<\/a>, Belt of Giant Strength<\/a>, Realmbreaker, the Invasion Tree<\/a>, Survey Mechan<\/a>, and The Dominion Bracelet<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Grim Giganotosaurus<\/a> and Redshift, Rocketeer Chief<\/a> retain their discounts for now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
