New Warden for Norway

Even Heggo has decided to step down from his role as Warden of Norway. The Norwegian judge community has seen incredible growth during Even’s years as Level 2, and in the last year his hard work has really paid off and the country gained several new Level 2 judges. I would like to thank Even for his exemplary work in the service of his community!

One of the judges who have benefited from Even’s mentoring is Espen Skarsbø Olsen, Level 2 judge from Mosjøen. Even as a Level 1, his community work was outstanding, and I’m very happy to announce that he has accepted the role of Warden for the rest of 2015.

Here’s his introduction:

“Espen started playing Magic in his youth with Portal, and played until High School before he sold his cards and took a 7 year long break. After moving back to the cold northern town of Mosjøen he rediscovered the joy of Magic, and quickly got into organizing stuff. He certified as a judge in June 2014. Being enthralled by the magical community of judging, Espen went for his L2 in March 2015. When not judging or organizing, Espen loves to play monocolored Legacy decks, and complex board games. He loves mountain hiking and anyone is welcome to visit for a hiking trip in the most beautiful mountains in the world.”
