Cristiana Dionisio<\/a><\/span><\/span>\u00a0is the Judge Conduct leader. She is responsible for creating the appropriate tools for us as a community to demonstrate our interest in safe spaces and welcoming environments. She ensures we have a consistent, fair approach to the required process when a demotion or suspension is in order.<\/p>\n

Judge Code<\/h2>\n

The Magic Judge Code<\/a> is the document that\u00a0describes the guidelines and rules for how Judges are expected to behave within the Magic community. It\u00a0also outlines the possible consequences if the code is violated.<\/p>\n

Judge Conduct Comittee<\/h2>\n

The Judge Conduct Committee<\/a> exists to decide when a judge\u2019s conduct is a problem and how that misconduct should be resolved from the Judge Program\u2019s perspective. It is comprised of Level 3 judges, selected by the Program Coordinators in a periodic application and selection process. How this Committee was selected:<\/p>\n

The Committee was chosen from among several Level 3 judges who applied in December 2017. Applications were carefully evaluated by a committee of Program Coordinators and Level 3 judges on the applicants\u2019 strength of investigative skill, availability and expected responsiveness, fair-mindedness, and other qualities related to the Judge Program\u2019s values and the Committee\u2019s needs. Final decisions were not easy, as there were many very highly qualified applicants.<\/p>\n

The Committee refreshes each year, with a new application window and selection each December. Previous terms on the Committee do not guarantee future selection.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
