Everyone starts with 0 cards in hand and draws the usual one per turn. Each player has all the mana they\u2019ll need to cast spells or activate abilities in their mana pool.<\/p>\n<p>The game has many names throughout the world &#8211; I think I\u2019ve heard it called \u201cDanish Magic\u201d and &#8220;Speed Magic&#8221; among others.<\/p>\n<p>The following rules govern the game:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>You must cast a card as soon as you&#8217;re able to!<a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.magicjudges.org\/playerexperience\/files\/2015\/12\/dreadmaw.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-164\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.magicjudges.org\/playerexperience\/files\/2015\/12\/dreadmaw-215x300.png\" alt=\"dreadmaw\" width=\"215\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.magicjudges.org\/playerexperience\/files\/2015\/12\/dreadmaw-215x300.png 215w, https:\/\/blogs.magicjudges.org\/playerexperience\/files\/2015\/12\/dreadmaw.png 223w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 215px) 100vw, 215px\" \/><\/a>\n<ol>\n<li>That means instants in your draw step and <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.magicjudges.org\/playerexperience\/wp-content\/plugins\/lems-mtg-helper\/lems-mtg-helper-cardfinder.php?find=Divine+Verdict&width=223&height=310\" class=\"jTip\" name=\"\">Divine Verdict<\/a> on your own creature in the Declare Attackers step (ouch!).<\/li>\n<li>If there\u2019s more than one target, the choice is yours.<\/li>\n<li>Any X in casting costs = 3.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li>You must activate any abilities on your cards as soon as you&#8217;re able! (max 3 times per turn)\n<ol>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.magicjudges.org\/playerexperience\/wp-content\/plugins\/lems-mtg-helper\/lems-mtg-helper-cardfinder.php?find=Nightwing+Shade&width=223&height=310\" class=\"jTip\" name=\"\">Nightwing Shade<\/a> every single turn.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.magicjudges.org\/playerexperience\/wp-content\/plugins\/lems-mtg-helper\/lems-mtg-helper-cardfinder.php?find=Akroan+Mastiff&width=223&height=310\" class=\"jTip\" name=\"\">Akroan Mastiff<\/a> in the upkeep<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.magicjudges.org\/playerexperience\/wp-content\/plugins\/lems-mtg-helper\/lems-mtg-helper-cardfinder.php?find=Kheru+Dreadmaw&width=223&height=310\" class=\"jTip\" name=\"\">Kheru Dreadmaw<\/a> as soon as you control another creature.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li>You must attack with all your creatures on your turn!\n<ol>\n<li>Choose which opponent you want to attack with, but everyone\u2019s gotta go for it.<\/li>\n<li>You must block with all your creatures (if you&#8217;re being attacked)!\n<ol>\n<li>Yep, even if it\u2019s an eldrazi coming your way.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.magicjudges.org\/playerexperience\/files\/2015\/12\/breaker.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-165 size-medium aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.magicjudges.org\/playerexperience\/files\/2015\/12\/breaker-215x300.png\" alt=\"breaker\" width=\"215\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.magicjudges.org\/playerexperience\/files\/2015\/12\/breaker-215x300.png 215w, https:\/\/blogs.magicjudges.org\/playerexperience\/files\/2015\/12\/breaker.png 223w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 215px) 100vw, 215px\" \/><\/a>Each of the 3+ players starts with 20 life. When the game ends, just set aside the cards that have been played so far and carry on the next game with the rest of the library.<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;ve found it a great time filler when waiting in airports on the way home using random boosters, or waiting with friends between rounds at events.\u00a0 Some cards are just going to be busted \u201cI win\u201d or \u201cI lose\u201d cards.\u00a0 Feel free to just cycle them (i.e. discard and draw). We also tend to cycle lands, as there\u2019s always a few that sneak into a GP weekend pile of leftovers.\u00a0 Although given the prevalence of Awaken spells and cards with Landfall in Battle for Zendikar it might be prudent to play a land just in case!<\/p>\n<p>And the best thing about playing this using Battle for Zendikar?
