Tournament information includes, but is not limited to, the contents of one or more players&#8217; decks, descriptions of strategies or play, transcripts, and video reproductions. Tournament Organizers are also allowed to publish this information once their tournament is complete.<\/p>\n<div class=\"alert alert-info\" role=\"alert\"> <em>Decklists should not be made public until an event has completed except in certain Premier events where player decklists are often shared with opponents at the beginning of the round. This is to minimize advantage created by certain lists being made public by coverage. Wizards of the Coast\u2019s right to publish this information does not necessarily mean judge or Tournament Organizers have to record it.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>At Premier events like Grand Prix and Pro Tours, Wizards of the Coast often has online coverage of the event. This section is explicitly state they are allowed to publish lists. Tournament Organizers also have the right to publish this information after the event ends, but some TOs receive permission to handle the coverage similar to Wizards. For example, Star City Games Opens regularly publish decklists on the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.starcitygames.com\/\">Star City Games website<\/a> during the event or Top 8.<\/em><\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;margin-bottom: 0px\">Wizards of the Coast reserves the right to publish penalty and suspension information.<\/p>\n<div class=\"alert alert-info\" role=\"alert\"> <em>Judges should take all investigation and penalty information very seriously, as it could end up in an article on Wizards of the Coast\u2019s webpage.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Wizards of the Coast will often report on disqualifications or other high profile penalties during Pro Tours.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>While this statement says that Wizards can publish a list of players who are suspended from the game, they do not. This decision was made in 2019.  Since then, outside of specific public articles, there is no way to tell if a player is suspended.  If a Judge or tournament official attempts to register a suspended player, the Wizards event software will notify them, assuming they didn&#8217;t just use a new email address or DCI number.<\/em><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Wizards of the Coast reserves the right to publish DCI-sanctioned tournament information at any time (including during the tournament).
