There are six types of mana; white, blue, black, red, green and colorless.  Other restrictions or abilities associated with mana are not part of its type and will not be applied to mana generated by Reflecting Pool.<\/p>\n<p>When determined what type of mana a land could produce, you do factor in replacement effects that change what types of mana a land could make.  Similarly, you do consider type changes when calculating what mana a land could make.  For example; a plains that has been turned into a swamp will generate black mana.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, you do not consider costs when figuring out what type of mana a land could generate.  If you control a Reflecting Pool and a Vivid land (like <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.magicjudges.org\/rulestips\/wp-content\/plugins\/lems-mtg-helper\/lems-mtg-helper-cardfinder.php?find=Vivid+Creek&width=223&height=310\" class=\"jTip\" name=\"\">Vivid Creek<\/a>) without any charge counters on it, the Reflecting Pool can still generate mana of any type.
