One of the reasons that the shocklands are so amazing as far as color-fixing goes is that they have basic land types. Another way they play well with others is the &#8216;taplands&#8217; from M10, and the corresponding enemy-colored taplands from Innistrad. Cards like <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.magicjudges.org\/rulestips\/wp-content\/plugins\/lems-mtg-helper\/lems-mtg-helper-cardfinder.php?find=Sunpetal+Grove&width=223&height=310\" class=\"jTip\" name=\"\">Sunpetal Grove<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.magicjudges.org\/rulestips\/wp-content\/plugins\/lems-mtg-helper\/lems-mtg-helper-cardfinder.php?find=Sulfur+Falls&width=223&height=310\" class=\"jTip\" name=\"\">Sulfur Falls<\/a> come in tapped unless you control an appropriate land&#8230; but it needn&#8217;t be basic, just have the right type. What that means is if you lead with a turn 1 <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.magicjudges.org\/rulestips\/wp-content\/plugins\/lems-mtg-helper\/lems-mtg-helper-cardfinder.php?find=Hallowed+Fountain&width=223&height=310\" class=\"jTip\" name=\"\">Hallowed Fountain<\/a>, your turn 2 <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.magicjudges.org\/rulestips\/wp-content\/plugins\/lems-mtg-helper\/lems-mtg-helper-cardfinder.php?find=Sunpetal+Grove&width=223&height=310\" class=\"jTip\" name=\"\">Sunpetal Grove<\/a> will come in untapped, because you control a Plains: the Fountain!
