At the time the Rest in Peace would be destroyed, its effect is still applying, so it\u2019ll be exiled by its own ability rather than go to the graveyard. <\/p>\n<p>Thankfully, this same effect won\u2019t apply to your enchantment destruction spell. The final step of resolving a spell is to put it in its owner\u2019s graveyard, and at the time this happens, Rest in Peace is no longer on the battlefield, so its effect can no longer apply. This means, for example, that if you cast a <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.magicjudges.org\/rulestips\/wp-content\/plugins\/lems-mtg-helper\/lems-mtg-helper-cardfinder.php?find=Ray+of+Revelation&width=223&height=310\" class=\"jTip\" name=\"\">Ray of Revelation<\/a> from your hand to destroy Rest in Peace, you\u2019ll be able to flash it back later.
