Today we&#8217;ll be looking at <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.magicjudges.org\/rulestips\/wp-content\/plugins\/lems-mtg-helper\/lems-mtg-helper-cardfinder.php?find=Annul&width=223&height=310\" class=\"jTip\" name=\"\">Annul<\/a>, originally printed in Urza&#8217;s Saga, the first \u201cenchantment block.\u201d Annul saw a reprint in Mirrodin, themed around artifacts, and makes a return in today&#8217;s Standard with Theros, another set with a significant enchantment component.<\/p>\n<p>With all the artifact creatures running around in Mirrodin, Annul could be an unusual way to give blue creature removal, since it could counter artifact creatures as well as plain ol&#8217; artifacts. Similarly, in the Theros set, Annul can counter enchantment spells regardless of how many additional types they have. If you cast a spell with bestow, like <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.magicjudges.org\/rulestips\/wp-content\/plugins\/lems-mtg-helper\/lems-mtg-helper-cardfinder.php?find=Hopeful+Eidolon&width=223&height=310\" class=\"jTip\" name=\"\">Hopeful Eidolon<\/a>, whether you choose to pay the alternative cost to make it an Enchantment &#8212; Aura or just leave it as an Enchantment Creature, Annul will be able to counter it. Annul can also counter <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.magicjudges.org\/rulestips\/wp-content\/plugins\/lems-mtg-helper\/lems-mtg-helper-cardfinder.php?find=Erebos%2C+God+of+the+Dead&width=223&height=310\" class=\"jTip\" name=\"\">Erebos, God of the Dead<\/a>: regardless of how much devotion you have, it&#8217;s always an enchantment (and a creature) on the stack.
