First, equip Beetleform Mage<\/a> with Illusionist\u2019s Bracers<\/a>. Then, activate its ability to give it +2\/+2. The Bracers will trigger and let you make a copy of that ability. Even though Beetleform Mage\u2019s ability says “Activate this ability only once each turn,” the copy you get with the Bracers doesn’t count as activating the ability; it’s just put directly onto the stack.
