<\/p>So this card does a lot for just one green mana. It’s pretty awesome. It lets you pick off an enemy’s creature with your pumped creature, then you get to attack past the now-dead creature with your now-bigger monster. Sounds good to me!<\/p>\n

But wait, that sounds too good to be true… what’s the catch?<\/p>\n

Well, the power balancing comes in the form of very narrow application. You have to target both a green creature you control, AND a green creature your opponent controls. It can’t<\/em> serve as a slightly weaker Giant Growth<\/a> in a pinch by only targeting your own green creature, because even though the second target is in a separate sentence, targets are all chosen as you cast a spell. When a spell asks for targets, you have to able to choose ALL those targets in order to cast the spell at all.<\/p>\n

In other words, you probably don’t want to include this card in your main deck at a limited event, as you have a reasonable chance of never being able to cast it. It’s a great sideboard card, though, so appreciate it for what it CAN do rather than what it CAN’T do!<\/p>\n
