<\/p>Hello again! Welcome to another day of Magic Rules Tips! Let\u2019s start with a trick question today. How many basic land names are there? If you said five, you\u2019d be mistaken! There are actually ten- Plains<\/a>, Island<\/a>, Swamp<\/a>, Mountain<\/a> and Forest<\/a> plus a “Snow-Covered” version of each (Yes, these are basic lands). With that said, it is possible to use Myriad Landscape<\/a> to find two cards with the same basic land type that have different names. For example, I can find a Forest<\/a> and a Snow-Covered Forest<\/a> with the Landscape’s second activated ability! Pretty cool, huh? Don\u2019t let this confuse you- the lands you grab have to be one of these ten basic lands and they have to have the same type. See ya tomorrow!<\/p>\n
