Both <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.magicjudges.org\/rulestips\/wp-content\/plugins\/lems-mtg-helper\/lems-mtg-helper-cardfinder.php?find=Remand&width=223&height=310\" class=\"jTip\" name=\"\">Remand<\/a> and  <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=Iof5pRAIZmw\" target=\"_blank\">Guile<\/a> have replacement effects that affect the spell in question, so which effect wins? In short, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=Iof5pRAIZmw\" target=\"_blank\">Guile<\/a>\u2019s effect will override <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.magicjudges.org\/rulestips\/wp-content\/plugins\/lems-mtg-helper\/lems-mtg-helper-cardfinder.php?find=Remand&width=223&height=310\" class=\"jTip\" name=\"\">Remand<\/a>, because Remand never actually counters the spell (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=Iof5pRAIZmw\" target=\"_blank\">Guile<\/a> just exiles it).  The player controlling <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=Iof5pRAIZmw\" target=\"_blank\">Guile<\/a> will exile the spell and be able to cast it without paying for it. Keep in mind, that player must cast it right then; they can&#8217;t &#8220;hold onto it&#8221; to cast it later. If they elect NOT to cast it, they spell just stays in exile.
