If you haven’t, then you probably need to start Investigating. Shadows Over Innistrad brought us investigating and clue tokens, a little twist on normal cantrips. Instead of getting your card right away, you get a token that you can sacrifice later on for a card. And there’s even some cards that give you bonuses for the clues you sacrifice. Cards like Daring Sleuth, who transforms when you sacrifice a clue, or Graf Mole, that gives you life when you sacrifice a clue. To cast it, you have to sacrifice a permanent. A clue token is a permanent, and can be sacrificed to cast the Purge. And since you sacrificed a clue, your Daring Sleuth is going to transform into Bearer of Overwhelming Truths, and you’re going to gain two life from the Mole!
