An artifact creature has two permanent types; artifact and creature.  Artifact creatures do have creature subtypes, but artifact is not one of them.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.magicjudges.org\/rulestips\/wp-content\/plugins\/lems-mtg-helper\/lems-mtg-helper-cardfinder.php?find=War+Report&width=223&height=310\" class=\"jTip\" name=\"\">War Report<\/a>, a common from New Phyrexia, counts the number of creatures on the battlefield and then it counts the number of artifacts on the battlefield.  (It &#8216;cares&#8217; about permanent types.) Artifacts creatures are both of those types, so they will be included in each of those totals.
