This August, Southeast Asia\u2019s Magic Judges proudly brings to you 5 Saturdays of enriching seminars prepared by some of the region\u2019s most experienced presenters – all from the safety of your home. The best part is: this is a thematic series! The presentations are organized per week based on niches of knowledge in judging. You can choose which area\/(s) you need to focus on and attend seminars related to that niche. For this installment of the series we have the following themes:<\/p>\n

August 1: Advanced Comprehensive Rules<\/p>\n

August 8: The Basics of Competitive Events<\/p>\n

August 15: Customer Service<\/p>\n

August 22: Events Management<\/p>\n

August 29: Leadership and Mentoring.<\/p>\n

You only need to set aside one Saturday to get to attend all the seminars in the theme of your choice. Sessions will be run from 10AM on Saturdays and the sessions would typically last 2-3 hours.<\/p>\n

But, let’s kick things off with a presentation this Saturday, July 25, 2020 at 10AM Manila. “Getting Your Point Across: How to Conduct Effective Webinars” by Randolph Co<\/a><\/span><\/span>, a soft skills training manager by trade.<\/p>\n

\n“Replacement effects may be considered as one of the trickier portions of the comprehensive rules. This sessions, we will be going through section 614 of the Comprehensive Rules, with focus on 614.12 (replacement effects concerning ETB).”<\/p>\n

\n“Known to many as one of the trickier part to study for L1 candidates and even to some certified judges. The layers system recently received an update. It’s a good time to delve into the layers system. Grab a couple of cards and a sharpee to make the most out of the exercises , while enjoying a digital cake.”<\/p>\n
