The Project

Introduction

Welcome to the How To Guides. Within our archives you’ll find handy guides that will tell you how to perform various judge-related tasks.

Our Goal

Our goal is to provide judges with efficient “How To”-guides that will explain how to do different things. We aim to give the one, standard, best way to do something. Most of these guides are aimed towards newer L1-judges.

Project Structure

The different members of the project will take responsibility to write a How To guide about a subject. When they are happy with their first edition, it is sent to a different member which acts as a reviewer. The reviewer will go through the guide and come up with suggestions of improvement. The pair works out an edited guide that is then marked as ready to publish. The final version of the guide will be uploaded on this blog to the joy of all judges.

Want to contribute? Have an idea for a guide?

We’re always on the lookout for new guides that will make a judge’s life more easy. If you have an idea for a guide that will come in handy, or if you would like to contribute to the project by writing guides, please contact us using this link. We’re working on a backlog of guides, so we might already be working on your ideas, but all ideas are welcome!
