- Conspiracy: Take the Crown has just released, and with it, we have our new Take the Crown Set Guide! It compiles all of the important links pertaining to Take the Crown, so be sure to check it out if you need anything!
- Do you want to Team Lead at a Grand Prix? Well, now you can certify to do so! The Level 2 Team Leader Certification process has been announced! This is a must do for any Level 2 Judge who wants to step up to Level 3! Take a look!
- Helene Bergeot has given another Organized Play Announcement, but the most important news for us out of this is the 2017 Grand Prix Schedule! The Northeast has about four Grand Prix coming up in 2017. Don’t miss ’em! đ
- A second wave of voting has taken place for the Northeast Logo Contest! Check out Ilan Seid-Green

- Exemplar Wave 7 is open! It closes November 1st, so make sure you get your nominations in!
- Hot off the presses, the Certification Requirements for Level 2 have recently been changed again! If you’re interested in becoming an L2, you should definitely take a look at what’s different.
- The Northeast’s own Dan Collins
has advanced to Level 3! Congratulations!
Judge Meetups
We’re starting to see more and more regular Judge meetups throughout the region, and I think these are certainly worth calling more attention to.
- Saturday, 09/10 – Worlds Apart Games in Amherst, MA: Organized by Chris Cahill
(so many Chrises!). Information can be found on Cahill’s Facebook Post. Be sure to come by if you can!
- Saturday, 11/12 – The Salisbury Laboratories at Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester, MA: Organized by Dan Collins, Bryan Hare
, and Alex Mullins
. This is a big one! The Northeast Fall 2016 Judge Conference is coming soon! This conference has a cap of 200 people, and, at the time of writing, 170 have already signed up! Be sure to RSVP before the cap! The conference has a theme of Failure, and is accepting applications for Presentations until Saturday, September 10th. More information can be found on the JudgeApps page, linked above. We hope to see you there!

both wrote reports on their experiences at Modern PPTQ for Dublin in Albany on 8/7. Paul’s report is from the perspective of a team lead, while Dan’s report is from the eyes of a judge at his first PPTQ. It’s always interesting to see different perspectives of the same event.
