Eric Shukan is a Level 3 Judge from Woburn, Massachusetts. Best known as the lead of the DCI Investigations Committee and an expert on investigations in general, Eric wrote the three-part series Investigations – The Search for Collateral Truths. He was recognized by Christian Gawrilowicz, who wrote the following:

Eric Shukan is a L3 from Woburn MA. Most of you have heard of him but some may not have, why not? Eric is the head of the Investigations Committee where he works tirelessly to uphold the fairness of Magic Organized Play. In addition he wrote a series of articles this year about how to investigate and become a strong and effective investigator. (something that personally I have not been in the past) Also, Eric’s work aiding Judges by giving tips and knowledge on the Judge Forums has been a great resource to Judges everywhere. Although Eric normally does not work events at this period in his Judge Career, I had the distinct pleasure of working with him at a 5k this year where he was a effective leader and mentor to everyone on staff.
