Northeast Blog Highlights

• Bearz Repeating (4/08/16): Paul Baranay blogs about authenticity a bit, or the ability to be honest with ourselves that not everything goes the way we really want but at the end of the day: that’s okay.
• Bearz Repeating (4/28/16): Bearz offers some reflections on the recent level re-definition, and how recent events have caused some imbalances in his life.
• Battlefield Forge (4/06/16): Charles Featherer was staffed for ODEs at Grand Prix Washington DC, where he was able to utilize some new tricks to help everything run more smoothly.

Tournament Report Highlights

• Michael Bauman wrote a nice report about his store’s pre-release tournament, including a leading investigation when he had to backtrace a long sequence of plays regarding The Gitrog Monster. His logistical challenges and ability to handle skill disparities are something most judges can learn from for this type of event.
• Ian Taylor wrote a nice short piece on a PPTQ for the Standard changeover, with a bit of a deviation involved. The short report and acknowledgement of his deviation are things I think are useful to see.
