• We have a new set coming out early on in April, and some of the supporting documents are already available online! With Shadows Over Innistrad prerelease coming up this weekend, be sure to check out the release notes and also the two-headed giant release notes.
• Keep your eyes open for two important things happening early in April. First we should have a policy update on Toby Elliott’s blog coming out next week. I have heard that there is something changing with Hidden Card Error in it. On top of that there is a Banned & Restricted List Update that will be posted on 4/4 where we can probably expect some changes to happen
• Wave 4 Exemplar nominations went live at the tail end of the month! Information more specific to our region can be found right here on our regional blog, or you can find more general information about this wave (and some insights into the program by Bryan Prillaman) here.
• Speaking of Exemplar wave 4: once again as a region we are spotlighting judges who received recognitions during this wave. For more details you can follow the blog here or by seeing the posts going up daily in the Northeast US Magic Judges Facebook group.
• We just wrapped up our Spring conference in Hoboken, NJ. Dan Collins wrote an aftermath post just a few days ago in regards to that, and has also posted an breakdown of what happened with links to videos here.

Tournament Report Highlights

• Abby Kraycar relays the tale of how she almost didn’t make Grand Prix Washington DC due to an injury, the steps she took prior to attending the event, and what she learned in Grand Prix DC Injury Style.
• Sam Barrows shares insights on how the deck checks team was run at GP DC. Here you can find out some of the challenges to being on this team for a team sealed event.
• Zach Apony missed the window to have his SCG Regionals Providence tournament report highlighted last month, but we have the technology to do it this time instead! Zach takes a look at how paper was run at the event, and also shares some interesting situations that came up. Read more here.
