Yu Win Yew (Malaysia) has been promoted to Level 3. Yu Win Yew’s Regional Coordinator, Wearn Chong
wrote some words for him:
I first met Yu Win in November 2012 when he came to see me to test for Level 2. Back then, he was a fresh-faced judge full of innocence and virtuous ideals. He seemed quite shy and nervous. Perfect candidate to turn to the dark side! It goes without saying he passed his Level 2 quite handily, and thus began his journey towards Level 3. Of course, he probably didn’t know it at the time. Poor guy.
Fast forward 4 years, and we now see quite a different Yu Win. He’s grown in confidence and proficiency, developing himself both as a judge and a person through years of experience and becoming one of the standout judges in the Southeast Asian community. Always willing to help and unselfish with his knowledge and mentoring of others, Yu Win stepped up to take on more responsibilities. He slipped a little on his first try, but made no mistake on his second.
I am very proud to call him my friend and colleague, and Southeast Asia is lucky to have another Level 3 judge. Congratulations, Yu Win. You Win!
