April appears to be a good month for SE Asia. A little over two years ago, four became five. And today, at MagicFest Yokohama, five became six. No, I’m not talking about the colours of Magic (there’s still no purple mana) but a new L3!
I wrote an 5-year anniversary piece for QJ last year, and everything I wrote there remains true to this day. QJ has put in a lot of hard work over the years to improve himself and others around him. He has proven his capabilities both in and outside of events time and time again so I knew it wasn’t a matter of if but when he would take the next step forward. I’m glad he didn’t make us wait too long.The diamond in the rough has been cut, polished and is now shining. I look forward to him helping to cut new diamonds for the judge program in the years to come.Congratulations, QJ!
