Historical levels

After October 1st, JudgeApps will show information about the “certifying body” that your judge level comes from.

For judges in areas that not supported by Judge Academy, JudgeApps will show that their level is supported by the Legacy Judge Program.

For judges in areas that are supported by Judge Academy, level information will be updated to show that their levels are now “Historical”. When they join Judge Academy, their level information will be updated to show that their level is supported by Judge Academy.

Historical levels will expire in six months (or in six months after Judge Academy expands to their area). Six months is a reasonable amount of time for people to keep their skills and knowledge up to date and to make an informed decision about joining Judge Academy.

It will not be possible to “level up” if your level is Historical. Historical levels are not a parallel certification system – it’s merely a record of a level achieved in the past.
