ウィザーズオブザコーストが組織化プレイ（OPにピンとこない人はこの言葉を「eスポーツ」と読み替えるとわかりやすいかも？）における大規模な変更を発表しました。これらの変更はジャッジプログラムへも影響のあるものです。 中でも大きなものは、プロツアー予備予選(PPTQ)がこれから行われる期間を最後に終了することです。PPTQには沢山のジャッジが協力してくれいます。多くの方の活動やレベルの維持に影響があるため皆さんから様々な質問があると想定しています。そうした質問を端的に答えると、ということは難しいです。これだけの大きな変更なのですから、その結果を十分に理解するにはより多くの時間と情報を必要とするものなのです。 2014年の大きな変更であるPPTQの導入により、レベル2ジャッジのニーズが高まりました。店舗数の増加に伴い開催可能店舗もどんどん増えていき、一部の地方では今いるジャッジ達では全店舗でPPTQを開催しきれないほどでもありました。この度の変更により、ルール適用度が競技のイベント数が減るために風向きが変わることもあるでしょう。ですが見方によっては、一人きりでジャッジをする小規模のPPTQに代わり、中規模の招待制の予選が始まります。そこでは複数人でジャッジをするので、メンタリングによる恩恵というここ数年求めていた機会が増えることにもなります。 しばらく前から、レベルスフィアにはレベルの定義変更に取り組んでいるワーキンググループがあることや、変更は未決定だと話してきました。レベルの定義は組織化プレイの姿に適合する必要があります。私たちも、組織化プレイに未決定の変更があるのではという噂を聞いていましたし、皆さんと同じように今週まで確かな情報は何も得ていませんでした。レベルの定義は、組織化プレイの変更が発表された後に、変更したかったのです。プログラムコーディネーターはこの度の変更をよく検討し、各スフィアやプロジェクトと協力しジャッジプログラムの構造や指針を整えていきます。 沢山の人がこの変更に困惑したことと思います。またある人はこの変更に安堵したとも思います。しかしながらそれよりも、今出ている情報ではどう反応すべきか見極めるには不十分だと言えます。私たちは引き続き情報を集め皆さんに伝えていきます。何か質問や意見があれば地域コーディネーターへこちらに記載の方法かプログラムコーディネーターへmail-the-pcs@googlegroups.comやSNSでお寄せください。
