Historical levels

After October 1st, JudgeApps will show information about the "certifying body" that your judge level comes from. For judges in areas that not supported by Judge Academy, JudgeApps will show that their level is supported by the Legacy Judge Program. For judges in areas that are supported by Judge Academy, level information will be updated to show that their levels are now "Historical". When they join Judge Academy, their level information will be updated to show that their level is supported

Future of the Judge Program

Dear judges,  Today Wizards of the Coast announced a fundamental shift in its relationship to the Magic Judge Program.  Going forward, what we currently know as the Magic Judge program will be managed by the independent organization Judge Academy, owned by Tim Shields, as of the start of October 2019. Changes to the Level 2 Tester Certification
