Monthly News

• We have a new set that came out earlier this month: Eldritch Moon! This means we have plenty of updates. However, rather than listing them all right here, I can instead just reference one of the new things that we’re doing on this site: the set guide! Each new set will have one, with a compilation of all the relevant links to stay up to date.
• We also have another new resource in the L1 Certification Guide written by Rich DiLeo. This is a super handy resource to be able to provide to candidates that spells out what to expect from the testing process, and how to best prepare for it.
• Of special note is the most recent MTR update, found here. The reason I bring that up is because GPTs are no longer required to be run at Competitive. We talked a bit about that right here on this site as well.
• There was also a recent change to the L3 checklist, details of which can be found on the Road to Level 3 page.

Judge Meetups

We’re starting to see more and more regular Judge meetups throughout the region, and I think these are certainly worth calling more attention to.

• Sunday, 08/07 – Command Zone Games in Norwood, MA: Organized by Elliot Raff, some information can be found on a webform, as well as the ability to RSVP (please do).

• Jacob Janssens wrote a report from SCG Worcester earlier this month. He goes over some interesting calls and happenings and sparked some discussion afterwards.
