Come join me in figuring out why Vampires and Angel’s just gotta battle…
So I’m trying something different this post and trying to use Cockatrice to come up with a scenario.
As always…I am open to any interesting judge calls fabricated or out there in nature. Just submit them to me at charles1883@gmail.com and include a picture, narrative, and outcome.
So without further adieu.
Judge!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You are a floor judge at your local game shop’s standard PPTQ. You are called over to what looks to be the final turns between B/R vampires and some form of U/W.
The UW player is expressed he thinks his opponent has drawn an extra card. Looking at the board state, the BR player currently has four cards in hand with Fiery Temper (cast this turn), Lightning Axe (cast this turn), Bomat Carrier, Lightning Axe, and Smoldering March in the graveyard. There were no mulligans, the BR player was on the play.
Has the BR player drawn an extra card?
What’s the fix and the appropriate penalty?
Rewind the game as far back as you can, and see if there are any other problems.
Just as with the last one, I’ll post the key in a couple of days after there’s discussion.
