We have a lot of awesome judges in the Europe-North region. Wave 11 of the Exemplar-program has recently been released and we have found some recognitions that we want to highlight.

Håkon, the entire process of your work for Nationals was exemplarly performed, but I would like to put a huge emphasis on the documents you prepared ahead of time. The detailed instructions were extremely well planned and was a major contribution to how smoothly the entire tournament ran. Thank you for your great work!
If you haven’t read the tournament report from the Norwegian Nationals that Håkon wrote, go ahead and do so now. Håkon did a really fantastic job ahead of the tournament, great work indeed!

Egle, you are truly amazing and every new player knows that, because the first person they interacted with were you. You single-handedly are responsible for increasing a number of our Magic players by teaching each and every one of them the rules. I can’t imagine a better person to welcome newcomers into our community. And your humbleness… It truly is astounding, when new player want to give his first (and only) mythic card to you as a gift of gratitude. Like typical you, you politely declined. This is my most beautiful memory of magic. It is impossible to imagine our community without you.
Being good ambassadors for the game we love and care about is very important, and it’s easy to see that Egle does a fantastic job with new players! Good job Egle!

Jesper, this recognition is for your work surrounding the Gentry charity event that raised money forwards suicide prevention. From what I have heard from people attending the event and the other organizers/judges you made the event better with your spirit and joy. I can personally attest to that you brighten up any tournament that you judge, and I am sure that the event became better due to it.
7th of october, Patrik Fridland among others, arranged a Gentry Charity Event, that Jesper Berntsson judged at. The spirit Jesper brought along to the tournament was something unique that others should emulate! Keep it up Jesper!
