Here are my Exemplar Wave 4 recognitions. THANK YOU!

It shouldn’t surprise anyone I am recognizing you and Olivier again in this wave, same as I did in the previous one. This time I am recognizing your joint effort in helping me see what was the correct decision when dealing with a conflictive situation with a local judge candidate. The two of you showed amazing maturity levels and professional demeanor during our discussion on the subject, and it should surprise nobody that both Olivier and you quickly reached to the conclusion that giving up on the candidate was not an alternative, and that we needed to give him a chance like everyone else. I will keep counting on you two for helping me build the great team we’re assembling in the Middle East, and in particular in the GCC region. I’m sure the best is yet to come.

Thank you very much Masaru for reminding me the importance of the personal responsibility we have as leaders in the Judge Program. It is easy to just take the easy way out when we are facing conflictive situations and just say “I don’t want to deal with this”. You helped me to remember how our responsibility was coming to the best possible solution for a serious issue with a judge candidate, and I am very grateful for your help with that.

Thank you Antoine for the conversation we had on how to improve the PEI procedures. I appreciated very much how you were open to hear new ideas, and on top of that you took the time to come back to me and explain how my feedback was going to be implemented moving forward in the way PEIs are handled. This level of transparency and openness is something I was able to see from you once again on the internal discussion we had within the PEI group regarding the methodology for PEI interviewer selection. Keep it up!

Steffen, I’d like to recognize you for coming up with imaginative ideas and solutions when developing Riccardo’s personal blog. Everyday we interact I am in awe of your technical knowledge and on how easy you are able to provide solutions by thinking out of the box. Thanks so much!

You work tirelessly on the Premier Event Staff Lists & Photos project, delivering excellent results and efficiency in running a project that coordinates staff pictures being taken at Grand Prix worldwide. This task is quite a big deal in itself, but on top of it you deal with the occasional problem with diplomacy and a constructive, positive approach. Very well done 🙂

Thanks Georgi for your very comprehensive and well-thought report of the Europe-East Leadership conference. It is a great tool for me to understand the region much better and was very helpful to get up to speed in getting to know so much about Europe-East. Thanks!

Gracias Damián por las muchas charlas y por los ánimos que recibo de ti. En concreto muchas gracias por la reciente lección de humildad y por el recordatorio que me diste de por qué hacemos lo que hacemos en el programa. Es fácil perder de vista lo importante y aturullarse con las cosas pequeñas, y con frecuencia eres alguien que me ayuda a ponerle perspectiva a mi actividad en el programa, y en general a la vida.

Thanks so much William for our interactions on day 1 of GP Vancouver 2016. When faced with a complicated situation you correctly prioritized the event’s and the team’s priorities over anything else, and you did it with amazing work ethics. You understood how the disruption and frustration this situation created was not something that you should take personally, and you allowed time and space for everyone involved to successfully get over it while getting the job done.

Thanks so much Rami for your efforts in making the Europe-East events Google Calendar a reality. I appreciate very much your attention to detail and the huge energy you invested in completing this project in a record time.
