Hello everyone!
Starting with Wave 3 we will be featuring some highlights of the Exemplar nominations received by judges in our region.
Stay tuned to this blog or to the Europe-East Magic Judges Facebook group to read more features. Today we present…
Abdulrahman Alhadhrami
Abdulrahman is an L2 from the UAE. He started playing in 2013, and Magic quickly became a big part of his life. He realized the region’s need for judges in order to run big events and help the Magic community grow, starting from the UAE. For this reason, he worked hard to become a judge, and a year later to become an L2. And he hopes to play a big role in the growth of the region.
Abdulrahman received 3 nominations in Wave 3, let’s have a look at them.

“Abdulrahman, It has been great to see your evolution and your learning process to L2 in the past months. The main reason I would like to recognize you is for your efforts in learning from your own mistakes. Being by going on IRC to ask about your rulings, by discussing in the regional Facebook group your doubts, or just directly messaging me with your questions, you’ve proved your commitment to self-improvement and learning, and your fast progression to L2 clearly shows! On top of that you’ve always been open to hear feedback and curious about new ideas and ways of being a better judge. Thanks and keep it up!”

“I know we didn’t meet at GP Detroit, but I heard enough of your story to recommend you as an Exemplar. Travelling those distances to test for L2 is commendable. It speaks to your commitment to the program, and your desire to see your region grow.”
