Wrapping up Judge Manager, Europe – East edition

Hello everyone!

We would like to start by thanking all of you who participated in the game submitting your staffing proposal. A very special thank you to those who contributed with their statistics to the game.

What were the statistics the applicants submitted? Let’s have a look…

a1Giorgos Trichopoulos a2David de la Iglesia a3Jernej Lipovec

bAdrian Teodorescu bDavid Guteša bGeorgi Benev

bNenad Cizmic bVladimir Trajcevski bYakup Çakmak

bZohar Finkel cAbdulrahman Alhadhrami cBalkan Cilingir

cChristos Sdralis cGiorgos Magganiotis cIrma Derkach

cIva Kleiner cIvan Stefanov cJavier Martín Arjona

cJohn Papadakis cMihai Bîrsan cMilorad Pavlovic

cMitja Bosnic cNejc Jurič cOlivier Gheysen

cRiccardo Mangano cYuval Tzur dAsım Mert Seyfioglu

dIoannis Economides dIvan Lendvaj dMichalis Foukarakis

dTamara Komatar dTheodoros Millidonis dVenelin Gornishki

Given those numbers we believe there was an optimal way to construct your team, with 9 “fixed” judges on staff, and 4 options for the last slot. This was as follows:
HJ – DLI
SK – Theo Milliodonis
TL1 – Nenad Cizmic
TL2 – Georgi Benev
FJ1 – John Papadakis,
FJ2 – Balkan Cilingir
FJ3 – Milorad Pavlovic
FJ4 – Mitja Bosnic
FJ5 – Michalis Foukarakis
FJ6 – In this slot could be any of: Javier Martin Arjona, Irma Derkach, Giorgos Magganiotis, or Abdulrahman Alhadhrami

This would result in a score of 66 points!

What do you think, is there a staffing that scores more points? Let us know in the comments!

A total of 20 people submitted proposals for the staffing of this tournament – our RPTQ in Istanbul! Unfortunately, not all of those were valid submissions. Some of them didn’t have 10 judges, some had a combined Converted Mana Cost greater than 25, some didn’t meet the devotion requirement, and…

Some of you selected as HJ a non-L3 judge. As per the RPTQ Fact Sheet that was linked in the first paragraph of the previous article a L3 is required by Wizards as HJ of these type of events. The lesson to learn here is to always check the corresponding Fact Sheet before judging any Premier Event. It is very important for judges to comply with Wizards’ requirements for Premier Events, which as a reminder include GPTs and PPTQs.

From the participants with valid submissions, the one with the highest score is Venelin Gornishki, scoring 55 points!

His team was: HJ: Jernej Lipovec SK: Ivan Stefanov TL1: Adrian Teodorescu TL2: Nenad Cizmic FJ: Venelin Gornishki, Yakup Çakmak, John Papadakis, Asım Mert Seyfioglu, Theodoros Millidonis, Balkan Cilingir. His prize is a judge foil Bribery, that we can see here being held by our beloved RC.

Meanwhile, in Cyprus…

As runner ups there were 3 judges who scored 50 points each – David Shor, Theodoros Millidonis and Georgi Benev.

That is all from us, once again thank you for participating in Judge Manager, Europe – East edition
