Hi Masaru this recognition comes from George Cuartero: Masaru you always find the time to judge at our PPTQs and GPTs. You always pushes us to schedule this events to get the community growing. Besides that you are the most approachable judge for everyone. Thus you are preferred by most of the stores in our country. Masaru you also provide personal mentoring to L1 aspirants, whenever you have the time ofcourse. You just tell me to setup a meeting with them to give them lessons and tests personally at the store. Finally you also provide help by sharing his experience as a TO and Judge to us store owners so that we may provide better service for our community.

Luca Romano had this to say about Masaru:

Koide-san, you were my backup during my very first Japanese event, GP Shizuoka. You have been incredibly helpful, helping me explaining our goals to the team, assigning tasks and delivering rulings. Your help went well above just translating my english to Japanese: you were calm and professional all day long, making me feel comfortable even in stressful moments and giving me a great example of how to behave in a totally new culture for me. You are one of the reasons my first GP in Japan was such an amazing experience.
