Scott Williamson is a Level 1 Judge from Amelia, Ohio. He was recognized this wave for keeping a community alive after the only store in the area closed. Here is what was said about Scott’s efforts:
“Scott Williamson deserves this recognition for actions above the the call of duty to assist the players in eastern Cincinnati when the only store in the area closed. Working with a local miniatures store, he helping arrange for a time for Magic players to gather a few times a week to help preserve the community in the area.”
Here’s what Minh Vu, his Area Captain, had to say:
Scott Williamson is great example of a Level 1 who doesn’t judge at large events, but makes a big impact on his local community. He has been a fixture of the eastern Cincinnati for well over 10 years, and he loves to play the game. The change that allows a judge to also play in events pushed him to becoming an L1, and I’m happy that he continues to serve his community. This exemplar is a show of his dedication to his community that he went out of his way to try to keep together when the store had to shut down.
